ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that Guy Fawkes - or at least his mask from the bland movie "V for Vendetta" - has become a symbol of heroic resistance. That fate doesn't happen to too many ethnic and religious bigots and would-be mass-murderers who wanted to place two kingdoms under the most oppressive rule in western Europe. But hey, each to their own.
