The Leatherman fascinates me, his route took him less than 1/4 a mile from where I live & I've walked many of the trails he must have used.
ReplyDeleteI loved this story about the Tamil Bell. I got curious, so i searched William Colenso. Immediately i found myself in New Zealand! This is what i love about the Weekend Link Dumps ! Time well spent, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThat the Leatherman walked his route for 32 years is astonishing, but that he did it so regularly, when there must have been who knows how many distractions and obstructions, is miraculous. I've heard of the Porter sisters, but never knew much about them. And Bobi, the oldest dog... What a good story. Going blind and with difficulty walking... If those difficulties are just starting, it's no wonder he's lived so long.
