  2. A most interesting article on Queen Anna of France (late of Kiev); I'd not heard of any western European monarch bringing a consort from so far away. But Kiev was at the time quite an advance country. I'd heard that Handel had been blinded by a quack, but didn't know J S Bach suffered similarly. SS Chmiborazo - just another couple of days on the high seas. Godspeed, Maru...
