  2. The story about Robinson's theory regarding Jack the Ripper is interesting, but I doubt that he's correct. The theory about Freemasonry being involved is an old one - used in several movies, in fact - though Robinson talks about Sir Charles Warren's knowledge of the crimes as if he, Robinson, just discovered it. That Maybrick was the murderer, killing several women in crazed hatred, and then not killing any more for the last 25 years of his life, seems improbable.
