He likely had so much information about George Kimmel from a combination of newspaper articles and Kimmel’s acquaintances. Anyone who has watched a psychic reading can see how a con artist gleans information from people through leading questions, reading body language and plain, ol’ clever manipulation. Kimmel’s relatives and acquaintances would have been easy marks for extracting information if they were eager to believe he was still alive. They almost certainly revealed things inadvertently in their desire to believe White. I didn't note the specific newspapers where I found these photos, but if you do a search for Kimmel and White's names on http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ you should be able to find them.Undinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16214242522330278662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7493712084606110971.post-72706590110722743832015-09-06T19:02:10.375-07:002015-09-06T19:02:10.375-07:00Hi - I'm actually researching this case myself...Hi - I'm actually researching this case myself! I live in Ark City and came to know the case through our local paper. I've tracked down the court cases and files - there is a great deal more to this story than the newspapers reported, and I am nowhere near done with the research. I am fairly sure that the 'mystery man' was not Kimmel - but this is the first time I've ever seen the pictures of the claimant. Can I ask where you got them? I doubt that anyone would have remained so steadfast in his convictions if he had not believed in them. After all, if he were paid to assume an identity, how much could he have been given and would it have been worth years of pretence?John Bellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10946140614088069665noreply@blogger.com
