(It's rather shocking how little effort was made to find her.) Apparently that's what some of the people who knew her best thought had happened.

It would be really helpful to know what Nick Rogers thought had happened to her, and to have his version of the day Barbara vanished, but there seems to be no record of him ever speaking about her.Undinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16214242522330278662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7493712084606110971.post-39371663552423403732018-04-25T06:38:01.923-07:002018-04-25T06:38:01.923-07:00What an interesting - though certainly not happy -...What an interesting - though certainly not happy - life. Barbara Follett seems to have been someone who was simply and completely out of sync with the modern world, or even with any real world. Many of us wish for simpler lives, but we manage to survive and even find contentment within the lives we have. Ms Follett doesn't appear to have been able to do that; it was no fault of her own, as she certainly did try.

This is one disappearance in which the theory that the person simply walked away from her problems and survived well enough anonymously is one that I find likeliest.John Bellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10946140614088069665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7493712084606110971.post-52786253017892702752018-04-23T11:21:10.758-07:002018-04-23T11:21:10.758-07:00I suppose we could just hope that she took to the ...I suppose we could just hope that she took to the woods to live with nature, unless proven otherwise I think I will.busterggihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02146221182670363053noreply@blogger.com
