His cemetery housekeeper stops by to bring O' Connor food and tells him the calls are made by restless ghosts. That night O'Conner has a dream where he sees a corpse standing in the cemetery office. Other than the dream, nothing happens that night. The calls continue night after night, and his wife can't take it anymore. So, she leaves. The calls continue and they begin to mess with his sanity. O'Connor disconnected the phone, but the calls continued. According to the Travel Channel information, O'Connor lost his sanity as a result.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02763922238442021142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7493712084606110971.post-55018211961044571262020-06-06T09:21:25.783-07:002020-06-06T09:21:25.783-07:00I live not too far from that CemeteryI live not too far from that CemeteryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11653467377904805602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7493712084606110971.post-52535238476069755992020-04-26T09:51:49.474-07:002020-04-26T09:51:49.474-07:00Fun facts: Mr. O'Connor was one of the first o...Fun facts: Mr. O'Connor was one of the first of 3000 that initially had a phone installed. His phone was also installed on the very first day that phone books were established. Granted, back then, it was only one page as there weren't many ppl who were listed. Back in 1980 I was doing p-t work as a security guard at Cedarcrest Hospital, then mostly empty buildings that had been a tuberculosis hospital (my grandfather had died there when I was four years old) and one that was still in use as a mental hospital. I had been told that the empty buiidings had all utilities and phones turned off but on one of my rounds inone building a phone rang or at least it sounded as if one rang. I couldn't track down where it was as the ringing was too brief. Was someone jerking my chain? I don't know and probably never will. busterggihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02146221182670363053noreply@blogger.com
